New Akali does not make sense and she's not balanced. Expected though.

Here's the problem Riot. You guys dont make champs like Zed or Yasuo anymore. There is something called limits. Zed can only blink TWICE, and yasuo can only dash through a unit ONCE per 10 seconds. This new "True stealth" is ridiculous and just goes to show how much you guys are leaning onto mobility like everyone is talking about. No one plays mage champs anymore including myself because mobility rules now. The only AP champ I play now is ekko, and that's only because of his ultimate and w.

Akali can now fight you under a tower, not only that but she has 3 dashes STILL. 2 on her ult and 1 with her shuriken skillshot. But wait, there's more, her shroud now gives "True Stealth". Akali can dash to someone who used tp or shen ult with her E, but thats okay right? Jumping from top to bot because "Akali never lets her enemies escape!". So far, the only people to tell me shes "balanced" are akali mains, people who become overly worked up and biased because they're ass is happy that akali is becoming even more broken than she was.

I find it sad how Riot always found a way to nerf Yasuo, like seriously, I think Yasuo is the champion that went through THE most nerfs. Watch Akali go through none, and if she does, it will only be once and never again. And she will stay overpowered.

To all mains of hard ap champs, good luck maining velkoz or viktor when that new akali comes out because boy you will not be able to land any of them skill shots with that true stealth, not even your turret will.

And if anyone wants to use vlad or fizz as an excuse, vlad cant attack while he is in blood pool and Fizz E can easily be dodged or predicted. True stealth, idk where tf Akali is, not even my turret, but she knows where I am.

The purpose of this is that Akali has TOO much mobility. Chill with the mobility Riot.

What's with people believing Akali has "True Stealth" now? She can be seen near towers. True Sight can detect her through her shroud.

Is everyone just believing Professor Akali and not verifying?

Yes, she has a lot of mobility, but don't complain about her "True Stealth", since she doesn't have such thing. She can be detected while in her shroud.

Irelia's E, if it lands, reveals Akali. ( the mark does ). Zoe's E reveals Akali too when she falls asleep.

That's what I have personally tried, so there must be a lot of ways to reveal an Akali hiding in her shroud.

And for the "True Stealth" thing. I did a 1v1 with my friend. I was Irelia and they were Akali.

While under tower, I could see Akali in her shroud, BUT they thought that I didn't see them. That ended up with them trying to all in me and me defending myself and surviving since I could see their position.

So yea, Reworked Akali is gotta have some changes to be more...ok, I guess ( while she is very fun to play ). But the "True Stealth" thing isn't a thing.

I love how oracle just becomes even better in comparison to true sight, while it isn't really (as) good as true sight, true sight is a mechanic that champions spend their power budget on....But now with true stealth all true sight does in comparison to the oracle trinket is show a white shimmer instead of a red outline at a slightly faster up to date pace..

Its one thing to have to buy an item to get utility that another champion would have (like mobility or cc reduction or slows) Its another to just get a trinket...

Playing adc vs akali is going to suck. You cant auto attack what you cant "see". Very few adcs have a dash, while Akali has 3 dashes and 2 movement speed buffs so running away isnt an option, Akali can just W under your tower so hiding under tower isnt an option. wtf is a Ashe, Jhin, Varus, or Kog supposed to do? Ashe can W or R and thats it, Jhin can throw some traps down, try to land his snare on something he can only see a very faint outline of, Varus can try to ult but does that even reveal her? Or will Akali just be rooted hidden in her smoke from Varus ult? Kog ult is supposed to grant vision of enemies he hits, but i doubt it work against Akali seeing Lee Sin E doesnt reveal Akali and Lee E is supposed to reveal hidden enemies hit by E. If you like playing ADC, or really any champion that is immobile you will 100% need to ban Akali every game once this rework goes live.

Yea, I would think so too. I mean, he's an Akali main, so he should know better. But apparently, he didn't check the "True Stealth" thing. Perhaps he shrouded under tower and not having an "!" above his champion made him think that he was unseen.

Perhaps the players he was against weren't reactive enough/acted like they didn't see him? I don't know.

I can just say this : Akali's shroud isn't as OP as he makes it sound like. If a turret shot is fired and Akali shrouds, she'll get hit anyways. The shroud doesn't cancel turret fire, nor does it hides you from its True Sight. ( Akali's shoud can drop Tower Aggro, but if the Tower Shot is already launched at you, the shroud won't save you from being hit. )
