I know that his ult cooldown was reduced but what other factors made him op and have a high win rateGraves .

  • Bullshit passive to clear his jungle without taking damage
  • Ranged
  • Tanky as shit because abusing damage reduction stuff
  • W being the most BS ability in the entire game
  • Dealing burst damage, while also having crazy sustain and allowed to deal "burst per second" basically
  • Dash giving him armor and spammable at some point, more spammable than Lucian actually
  • He's ranged, but if you come melee he'll deal EVEN more damage to you, making him strong against both melee and ranged champions

"But he has to reload" you gonna tell me, once he gets item 3046 it doesn't even feel like he has to reload. He has always been hated, last season he was in the same state, but now with the release of item 3095, it broke him again

His rework

Jungle changes. Graves is early game focused, the shift to contest scuttle made him top tier because he is a great duelist at early levels, and he snowballs from there due to his marksman nature.

People are forgetting that before the scuttle changes he was F tier 46% winrate for a couple of months, of course most wouldnt notice as they were busy complaining about w/e was OP at the time, but as someome who mains him, he didnt change much in terms of kit since those days except for his ult CD reduction.

Also, stormrazor addition to the game further buffed him indirectly (like every other burst champ).

Scuttlecrab change

His passive attacks also immediately break scuttle Armor, and allow you to push scuttles into dragon pits and corners and immobilize them, making scuttle captures super easy. Those things are worth a good chunk of money too so it’s quite significant.

Personally, I hate W. it’s among the most aggravating abilities in the game. He shoots a grenade and you’re helpless to do damage or defend yourself until you escape it’s zone. While you’re being slowed.

He became strong on patch 8.10 when the Jungle XP was gutted. This for 3 reasons

  1. Graves duels other junglers really well which gives him an advantage in crab fights
  2. Graves doesn't rely on his abilities to clear the jungler so having less levels in the early game doesn't effect his clears as much
  3. Graves is one of the few junglers that teamfights really well against most comps, so having less impact in the early game affects him less since he has more value in the late game.

Then they buffed the shit out of Stormrazor and he became OP because he is the only jungler that uses the item.
