No offense but, the root duration on her q needs to be toned down. 3 full seconds without buying tenacity is just too much, for a champion whose play style is relatively safe, and it's not like it does weak damage at level 5 its 300 base damage plus 90% ap. That's a ton of damage, plus a ridiculous root in 1 spell. So I say we either drop it to 2 or 1.5 seconds were its not too oppressive and still does all its damage. I mean leblanc's chain lasts 1.5 seconds and lux's q lasts 1 second so I don't see why Morg still has this q at 3 seconds. And don't give me this bs about its mana cost and bs because lux and morgana have the same mana cost, but lux's does less damage. I'm not asking for a damage reduction i just don't see how a spell has had a 3 second root for so long, and it needs to be nerfed.

It has a 3 second root because if it didn't root her target for 3 seconds her W would be almost useless for everything except clearing waves.

Except she's played more as support than as a mid-lane mage. Mid lane, she relies heavily on her Q to do anything.

Honestly sound like she needs a rework.

Yes. However, she was never designed as a support, she was intended to be a solo lane mage - which is why her kit works the way it does.

Gragus was designed as a bruiser, but he was built as a burst mage. It happens to lots of champions. But right, she's much more popular in a support role than mid role, and it's pretty difficult to balance the two.

Either way, I really think the root duration should scale based on distance traveled similar to Nid's spear (doesn't last as long at point blank, lasts the longest at the far end of it's range.)

Even if the root was lowered her W would still do decent damage, and having an ability that wave clears is not a bad spell in itself. It helps against comps that are trying to siege you, but the 3 seconds right now is just to oppressive to have.

W is used more to farm gold in the support role, and to clear waves in the mid lane, than it is for damage.

The duration on his Q is never going to be lowered until her ult and W are changed.

Without the Q duration, should would never stun anyone in this current meta in lane. And without the Q duration, the W would deal pathetic damage because no one would get hit by more than 3 ticks of it.

That's were your false. If we go by her current favorite role right now as a support, neither the support nor adc normally build merc treads. So if we lower her root duration to say 2 seconds, that's still 2 seconds of a root duration. Now once Morgana hits level 6 and goes all in, that a 2 second root, plus an ultimate that stuns the target for 1.5 seconds. In this day in age of meta all it takes is 1-2 seconds for someone to die or in this case an adc. Now it's not like support Morgana's build only support items because I'm pretty sure besides the support item and sightstone they still are building ap, and still doing damage. and 2 seconds is long enough without tenacity for her W damage to go off

Morgana's ult duration is 3 seconds. THAT is the reason her root is 3 seconds..

In League of Mobility, literally everyone has a way of getting out of Morgana's ult unless they are hit by her snare.

Her W also lasts 5 seconds, meaning she needs a perfect combo to even make someone take the full damage.

THAT is why her snare is 3 seconds.

It is way too long...and has a huge hitbox. I don't know, I just hate her lol.
