Shaco Q priority

I am a silver 2 shaco top main, and i was wondering how much diff upgrading the q is worth, currently i get it 3rd and max it 2nd , btw how strong is the bonus crit dmg on it?

Uh... don't main Shaco top. xD It's a pretty big difference, and if you get IE it'll be an even bigger crit.

that brings up another good question, how early should i be getting infin edge, right now i get it 5th or 6th item, rushing hydras first then boots, youmuus and cleaver.

Cleaver isn't very good for him, since you'd have to stack physical damage on somehow. Your E, W, and R all do magic, while your autos are physical. That's 5 autos. Last Whisper would be a better rush since it's instant benefits in the short time you have to assassinate later in the game. IE is probably a good rush for 2nd or 3rd item, not including boots. Hydra is fine first, but an Avarice is always nice to pick up early for the gold bonus, then upgrade into Statikk since it's also a guaranteed crit with your Q. It's pretty beneficial to max Q sooner than E/W while jungling, not sure about laning.

its decent damage, the biggest thing about leveling it though is the mana cost reduction

yeah, when i checked i was surprised the cd doesnt actually lower just the mana cost, ik its very mana hungry, so ive been debating if i should just upgrade it sooner then after i finished maxing e
