Akali really needs a buff

Akali's winrate is 46%... and her best winrate (the win percentage of games played on the champion by summoners with highest elo and best performance this season. Max of 50 summoners used per region with a minimum of diamond V and 50 games played to be eligible.) is a measly 54%. Lets compare this to aphelios and ekko who have had a best winrate over 60% patch after patch. Akali needs to be tankier or a better assasin. She doesnt do either well and is useless late game. stop saying her shroud is op all u need to do is shoot a fire hose of CC at it which happens every other game now because of how prevalent it is and she is useless.

Akali main here with close to 400k on her, to answer you in a few words:

Short answer:

"Hell no"

Long amswer:

"Hell fucking no"

I'm literally tired of all these "makes champs easier to play" stuff. Just get good will ya guys? Why is damage high? So everyone can carry even on champs that require skill and they would be unable to carry otherwise.

Latest Ryze rework? "making him easier to play" Sylas? "the disparity between good Sylas players and the rest is too high, we're making him easier to play" A-Sol? People love the butchering they made to him because they now no longer need to learn to trade correctly as Riot removed the ability to trade incorrectly. That whole thing is something people were saying on the boards.

So don't you dare touch my Akali with buffs, either get good or go home.

I dont think akali is broken but you can tell a good akali player from a bad one. Most akali players I see will drop a q and immediately run towards the enemy instead of taking half a step back for the passive.

When a player is good, you should be able to see the skill disparity.

She's in a decent spot now and doesn't need buffs, at all, and I don't care if Jhonny from Plastic 12 can't play her, she shouldn't be buffed or changed specifically so he can play her.

If someone necros old posts from before her rework was live, I always said I want her to be a high skill floor and skill cap champion that not everyone should be able to play.

Right and they have done that she used to be bust as fuck with that untargetable tower bullshit riot pulled but I think they nerfed her to be fair and harder to play. I don't like how they got rid or the ministun and gave her more damage in her execute

The whole "camping under tower" thing literally happened maybe once in a hundred games when akali was extremely ahead. Its beyond incredible that people still hate on akali because of information was spread as propaganda. If an Akali got that far ahead, you misplayed really hard.

Litteraly saw maybe every other akali game. Level 6 she could tower dive you. And regardless of what your saying if it's a feature she never used then it shouldnt be there :)

I really doubt that, i really do. Pre-nerf Akali suffered from the same problem malzahar did; If you dont respect, you get slapped. People didnt respect; they didnt play around the mechanics, they didnt learn, they just wanted to nuke her for existing and cried when they couldnt. People used anecdotal evidence and the echo chamber to prove she was absurdly broken then parroted streamers meme clickbait as doctrine. We saw some of that with cat buff, too.
