they disarm shrooms and u can carry 3 instead of 2

i can kind of understand the disarming part (but having vision of them in the first place should've eliminated the danger so it's not a nerf for anyone that isn't a dimbo and steps on a visable shroom) but the having 1 extra in your inventory isn't exactly a broken mechanic.

you can only have 1 placed at a time, and I don't know anyone that is gonna drop 225 gold at once for 3 wards when you can only use 1 at a time. It'd be a waste of money if I've ever seen one

I mean that ward does not move very much. It's not like Teemo is loosing much by losing a couple of traps. How many Teemo traps expire without ever blowing up anyway. I think Teemo can spread mushrooms over a large enough area to make up. Plus then the top laner is spending gold on it. You can probably just litter their jungle with them still. Then, if they're using their Control Wards to just counter your trap, there are probably more effective uses for those wards that they are not being used for like general vision or vision control, etc
