On Being Taken from Gold To Silver

So. While we all know this is a possibility(and a good feature for people who get "boosted," or anything like that), why in the world do they(Riot) expect people to stay sane with the amount of trolls? And with the general toxicity of the community, you make a single mistake, and not only are you getting reported for something crazy, you've instantly got more trolls on your team. Leading to your eventual demise.

How many do you have to lose/what's the formula before you get demoted to Silver from Gold? Also, what's the amount of decay you'd have to have to be demoted from Gold to Silver?

I plan on getting back to Gold again, and only playing a single game as decay may arise, because this could be the_ second season in a row_ that I lose my (deserved and earned) Gold season rewards to.. these people. Who, for some reason, have the ability to steal all these things you've worked for from you, because they don't take it seriously. Extremely discouraging to play ranked, because people genuinely enjoy taking your LP.
