I know this has probably been said a lot but I figure I put in my 2 cents. I don't like not being able to look at my champion pool while in the new champion select system. An easy fix would be setting it up so that champions where a pop up window similar to the skin selection.
Easy fix and it keeps the thematic feel that Riot is going for.

Not all the time honestly, especially in the nature of draft pick where you often times need to change who you planned to pick during that time due to having a bad team comp or needing to counter pick etc. Also 40 seconds isn't really a lot of time for the people who have every champion, since we have to scroll through the entire roster and in most cases spend most of the time just looking for what champions can be played for the role you are in.
arcticnerd1 votesSure 40 seconds is a fair amount of time when thinking about what you might want to play but once champions select starts you should be reactively picking your champ. As it stands you only have 30 seconds to look through the pool, you have to remember all the champs that you might pick.
I guess it works fine if you only play 1 champion though.
Dark Nephthys1 votesI would like to see them allow us to look through our champions while everyone else is selecting. Another idea could be to have is if we can set up multiple tabs and select which champions in each tab (Think of like the item sets, and the drop-down menu in the shop). So say I want to go top lane a lot, I could make a tab for all my top laners and when it's my turn to pick I could just go to a tab that shows only the top laners that I added to the list...that way I could narrow down the 125+ champions, down to like...10 and gives me more time to decide which would be better for the team.
Of course still allow a tab for all the champions, so that you can pick for a team mate or if you didn't add a certain champion to that tab etc...but having a tab for each role would really help and speed things up imo. Could be a cool idea I think.
