A plea to Riot

I've had very little in the way of fun with this game since Dynamic queue was implemented.

If I'm not against a 3+ team, I'm queued with one, and one or the other is a bunch of abusive kids. Anyone I meet through the game and could potentially queue with has simply turned violently on me or the others I add to the queue the moment their expectations aren't met. I don't have friends that play this game anymore, and I'm unlikely to meet any outside of the game as an adult with responsibilities and established relationships. I cannot take advantage of the rewards or the incentives in place for dynamic queue, nor is it how I want to play the game.

I cannot stress how much of a tragedy this is for me and the game. I've been playing MOBAs casually since I was about 18 or 19 with the original DotA. I was skeptical of League at first, considering it an upstart, but I came to love it. I do not like DotA 2 anymore, and the course League has been on is pushing me away. I am 32 years old and I have spent about $100 every year for the past 4-5 years. I am exactly the player you want in your game: mature enough to treat others with respect and the owner of a disposable income. This is the player you are forcing out of League.

Last season I tried ranked for the first time, placed silver 2 straight out of the gate. I was like, cool, that's about right, but I didn't play any more ranked games. This season I placed Silver 5, which is not great and below where I think I'm at but I deserved it, so I was genuinely excited to climb. This statement, that solo queue is basically on hold indefinitely, has completely sapped my enthusiasm for the game.
