Malphite Jungle

I usually play Volibear jungle, but lately I have had such a hard time getting to people with endless dashes that I have tried a few games as Malphite jungle, my jungler of yesteryear. So far, I am having a ton of fun with it, and have had good success in normals. I was looking for input from others and general guidance, since I haven't been able to find much updated information on Malphite jungle.

My build: Masteries 9/21/0, attack speed reds, armor yellows, MR/lvl blues, and HP/5 quints (page shared with Volibear).

My item build is usually: item 1039 ->item 3713 item 1001 ->item 3725 -> item 3143 item 3047-> item 3110 item 3102 -> item 3068

I also commonly get item 3075 if they are AA heavy. I've considered item 3001 or item 3157 for if I need to add on damage, but have always just resorted to tankiness.

I tried Nocturne and Rammus jungle, but they had sustain issues when I played them. Malphite, on the other hand, can endlessly circle the jungle farming, without ever needing to go back. What do you guys think of the above build? Is there something I have not taken into account for the new jungle? Thanks!

I'd personally take Ionian's over Ninja Tabi. Here's why: It essentially allows you to free up an item slot. As with most junglers, the mana that Frozen Heart provides is the core reason it's purchased. CDR can be attained by other means, be it mastery points, runes (CDR per level glyphs, I'm looking at you!) and your Crest buff. That being said, you can get that precious mana through Righteous Glory nowadays, if you really needed it. But that Crest is what really speaks to me in this scenario. Lane Malphite would definitely pick up Frozen Heart, but I don't think it's needed when you're roaming the jungle. Try something like Trailblazer > Boots > Cinderhulk > Righteous Glory > Ionian Boots > Abyssal Scepter/Thornmail > Banshee's/Randuin's. You should also be looking to end the game after about four items have been completed. The last two items you purchase are primarily for you to adapt to the situation you're presented with. Try to be creative. Hope this helps!
