Riot's Decision on servers. My opinion/Feedback.

Ok so the Na players got an update about what's going on with the servers. Now I know that it isn't just "buy server add X win." And that it takes a while to get everything perfect and neat as can be. Nothing will ever be perfect. BUT what was said pisses me off with a passion. As an East Coast player in Canada the fact that you "have no plans" to move the servers to a Central location for a while is pitiful.

The East coast players have been asking about the servers for over a year now and we still have no timeline as to when we are even going to have a solution to the ping difference. Why should West coast players get such an advantage over someone in the east coast? Because they live closer to the riot offices? Well to be honest that's BS.

You always talk about looking out for the community but the fact is you are looking out more for the west coast people right now then the entire region. Which is probably why a lot of players have gone to LAN from the east coast. Which I am almost ready to do myself as having 100 Ping on a constant basis is annoying. Why wasn't something done long before this was even an issue? Why not make the Servers in a central location to begin with? Not sure what went through the minds when that was dismissed as an option.

Now to my biggest gripe. We have so much technology at our disposal in this day-in-age, that setting up a server for a game like League shouldn't take more then a year and a half. Unless you need to build an entire new building for that to happen.

So my question is, Why did it take almost 2 year of players complaining for something major to be done, that should have been done to begin with?
