leaverbuster too lenient

So it's a norm, we're kinda winning but it's still tight, our jg warns us they have to go soon. Not like we can pull a rabbit out of our arse and make a tight game an insta win in 5 minutes. At min ~35 they sit in the fountain, at min ~40 they d/c, so at min 45 my team decides to ff because we cannot contest without smite. So 4 people wasted 45m. But that particular someone that left, and actually wrote their intent in chat, easily verifiable, no pc/inet/new client problems, gets what? 5m longer queue? That's fair how? For their first offense they should get 4x45m q time in cases where it's intentional and verifiable. We should have an extra option for reporting, called premeditated afk`ing. The game clearly states, **average **game length is 30-45m. If you cannot dedicate that _average _time, then go play a different game! or mode, like aram!

And you would be all for this rule until it happened to you.

But that's the thing, if I don't have an hr to spare, I go play ARAM. What I mostly play anyway. And it only seems fair, because 4 people lost all that time. Why would I suggest a rule if I weren't ok with it being applied to me?...

And Rito would be all for this rule until they lost half their playerbase.

What you're saying is half their playerbase afks and do not want harsher punishments? I think if half their player base would do that, we would lose the other half. And if a smaller percent is afk'ing, then who ever is left playing out numbered, aka the majority, deserves to be listened to. I also suggested in a diff thread that we can q for ongoing 4v5s and we can pick which one we can fill in for, but it got burried.

At this point people are getting away with it way too easily, if it's still happening at a ridiculous rate. 7 games today, 4 decided a loss because in each of those 4 we had an afk. In a 5th we had an int, but that's another story. These are my odds? Would any1 agree to these odds before queuing up again? I bet half the player base would change games immediately. But if given this choice, I'd choose harder punishment any fkn day, over this bs 5 out of 7 losses by default. Plus time wasted. And fun crippled.

What you're saying is that anyone who ends up leaving for no matter what reason, be it something real or not, will need 4 hours on hand before ever playing the game again. You're basically asking for a perma ban for dc'ing.

If they afk enough times, it becomes 20 minutes. For 5 games. That's 100 minutes in total already.

Actually, no. Not what I said. Lemme repeat myself for those that aren't paying attention. There are clear cases where the chat log can be checked and I suggested an 'intentional/premeditated afking' option in the reporting list. It's not for no matter what reason. It's not cus the new client disconnected you. It's not cus your shitty PC crashed (and you shouldn't be playing this game anyway til an upgrade). It's not cus your ISP decides to reset your modem for every new customer in the neighbourhood. And it's not cus your house is on fire and you let us know 5 minutes before you actually leave. It's cus you had to go in 30minutes after the game started, when the avg can be up to 45, but you're a dick and you started a game anyway. It's cus you declared your intent in chat that you're leaving, like we're miracle workers and can win the game before doom time (aka the unknown time that you actually leave, usually 5 minutes, like most people that do this and have this 'moral code', 'hey let's give em a short notice and demoralize them ahead of time'). It's cus you afked in the fountain like you said you would, then d/c'd. All this is easily verifiable for an INT AFK. And I'm not asking for a perma ban for d/c'ing. The first offense is just a warning with 5 min wait. Ridiculous. 2nd offense 30m. No, I say these waiting times are too lenient and should be based on the game time. If the other 4 players wasted 45m of their lives, no 5 or 30m q time punishment is ever gonna seem fair to me. It should equal the damage inflicted.

You really think you wasted 45 minutes if you played a perfectly normal game for 44 minutes and then lost because of a dc in the next?

I've had almost decent games where we've had int feeders and trolls. Even had a 3/2/1 KDA in one of them, which isn't great but not terrible either (was jungle. My lanes who got trolled may have felt a little differently).

No, it all went to shit at like min 30, and yea, 15 minutes of cringing gameplay and knowing that they could've just let someone else queue with us and maybe win, yes, it's a waste. That 1 person decided we couldn't win anymore and their punishment wasn't enough. Yes, waste. Whichever way I look at it.
