I want a bot replacing an afk, to stand some sort of chance

Cus the penalty is obviously not enough that people still do it, on and off, and randomly come back levels behind everyone and still walk into a 1v5 to be deleted in .2s. Knowing there's a penalty for afk doesn't help me at all DURING the game. I don't even know if there's a penalty for feeding, as of yet. Just pisses me off that some can get off with just a warning after wasting at least half an hour of other 4 people's lives. The improved AI that I saw in the doom bots might be a reliable stand in. Minus the random abilities from other champs, of course.

bots don't go in 1v5 tho, and will play safe under tower if needed... humans won't, even when asked 20 times

Intentional feeders face a 14 day or permanent ban. The problem is that it's incredibly difficult to prove a player's intent, which is why gameplay offenses go unpunished longer than consistent chat offenses. Continuing to leave matches despite already having a low priority queue can also result in a ban.

The problem with AI replacing players is that they suck. They become predictable and would only feed players that learned how they react to different situations; it would actually be worse for most teams to have an AI over an AFK, maybe except for the lowest elo.

That doesn't mean Riot can't increase or change the penalties to reduce the problem, though. I think it's worth exploring alternative punishments for Ranked offenses.

Bot AI isn't nearly good enough for this to happen. They'd just feed super hard.

u can still win against doom bots tho the idea was smth in between, the ai from doom bots because it's better than the normal bot ai, minus the op'ness from the random abilities

Play a bot game(not doom bots) and see if your opinion changes

Bots are typically autofeeders since they are already easily predictive.

If their settings were replaced to a higher ops like DoomBots, this will abuse the system where a lucky team with an AFK gets carried & won the game by a bot.

Even if it is improved AI, they are predictable and people will abuse them for gold.

Personally I rather have a 4v5 than a 4v6...
