So why is riot buffing the cancer that is bruisers?

Bruisers are just like tanks or carries, they get balanced fairly too. Nerfs as well as buffs when needed.

Only exception is Poppy and I believe Yorick. Poppy is not allowed to be pick/ban, especially in pro play.

At any rank bruiser are the strongest champs, but riot want to make the game easier by buffing those champs, they want new players and bad player to be able to reach the top rank just by spamming ranked with 0skill champs; in fact a bronze player wich plays only panth/talon in ranked can reach gold/plat very easy, and those peoples are the ones who buys the most skins and so generate the more money. Sadly because those changes almost 40% of player who reached plat/diam at season 1/2 are leaving this game to play on games like dota.
