Nocturne Mid.

I am an avid and experienced Nocturne player. I've been playing him since season two he was the first 6300 champ I bought (Yes I got him when he was still tier 4 champion) and I have a positive kda with him, win or lose, nearly every game. I agree with the meta that his best place is in the jungle, he has strong ganks, good global pressure with his ultimate, and he can become a monster late game. I saw a video online of faker (Hide on bush) playing nocturne mid. I immediately thought "well i can do that." So, I loaded up team builder with a friend went noc mid, and did really well surprisingly. I played three games and carried all three. I then had thoughts about taking him mid into ranked. I know a few higher elo players that say a good tactic for climbing is to play off meta champions. Before I try this out I was wondering if anyone else has caught on to his mid lane capabilities, and if they have any suggestions, build ideas, or just general tips about playing noc mid, or even when to take him mid lane? I love comments, even if you think this is a horrible idea I want to know what other people think about this.
