Tbh, he is not overperforming in any of his roles. I don't really see a eeason for them to nerf him.

I was a Tahm Kench support main who had to stop playing him because at low to mid ELO he is basically useless. He is far too dependent on his team making good decisions, at least as a support, that I was put in a position where if we got behind at all, I was just a third wheel the whole game.

I can't speak for top lane, but support could really use some love at silver/gold level.

You complained about everything except for the one thing that actually makes him one of the most unfun champs to play against - his Devour.

As a Tier 7 Tham Main, i can confirm he isnt as strong as People make him. Yes his slow is intense, but if he really tries to go for eating you he sacrifises lots of Health to your Lane Buddy, which he cant easily reg anymore since he will mostly max Q for the Dmg. If he doesn´t he will reg rather well, but lose all his Zoning and Damage Threads, so its just not ideal to go Max E. Also one long fight works wonders, since his E Shield breaks on its own soon, making him either waste it early or use it for half its potencial. As much as i hate having to give this advise, pick Brand, Zyra or other Poke Champs, even if it sounds stupid such Champs hit Tham´s laning so hard he will probably be no Thread at all since he will be halflife all time for one Q Poke himself.

All of this is based on the assumption of Supp Tham, where i play him. Top Tham is even worse as i have seen/heard, since the earlier Nerfs more or less killed Top Tham completly.
