Remember the "Honor" mechanic? Let's tie it to crafting

It's been years since the honor initiative was launched, and then fell flat on its face after a month or two. Simply because there was no incentive to participate in the program. But now that Hextech Crafting has been introduced, there is now a rather reasonable reward system in place that can be used to promote the honor system without giving players enough content to make IP/RP irrelevant.

What I propose is simple; when you give any player an honor ribbon, you earn a key fragment if they earn a related crest within the next 3 days. Whenever a player earns a crest, they get a full key. Once a crest is earned, whatever criteria Riot has for earning a crest is reset - allowing a player to "re-earn" said crest and get rewarded for being a good person again.

It doesn't have to be this specifically, but it seems to me that Hextech Crafting is the perfect platform to function as an incentive for being nice.

They probably wont do it because they'll lose money. It's so easy to farm for honors especially when you're in premade
