Why does Rammus scale from AP?
Why does Rammus scale on AP of his passive gives him AD, so when he is against mages he has to build MR which screws him obver! Thoughts pls. thank you! :3

Rammus has AP scalings because he is an old champion and back then AD and health scalings really didnt exist. Yeah, if he is going against a heavy AP team its bad for him. Thats why you either A) pick him into high AD comps, or B) blatantly ignore the existence of the enemies' magic damage. Let your teammates deal with the mages and just beeline for their ADC.
Why does Rammus scale on AP
You mean why do Rammus's abilities get powered by ability power? That's, uh, that's the entire purpose of ability power. To power abilities.
I also don't see why Rammus would care, seeing as you just build full tank on him (ie you ignore AD and AP until the game runs into overtime). I mean really - if you were planning on building damage, you should have picked a different champion.

Rammus is what you call a CC tank. He doesn't care how much damage he does, because his CC potential is game-changing enough by itself.
Also - Rammus's taunt is a 2.25 second silence. He doesn't have any bothers to give against a single mage, as his taunt might as well be a stun that rocket-grabs AP champions.
If it's multiple mages - the wet dream of every tank is running into a team that focused on a singular damage type rather than mixing it up, because you get to be invincible. Or build 50/50 damage/defense stuff like Wit's End and Maw of Malmortis and proceed to out-tank and out-damage your opponents.
