How often is Soraka banned?

I just got done playing with a team that says she banned all of time. I have only seen it once. When it happened to me. Thoughts?

As I recall from a previous discussion, she also have like a 4% lower win rate on the NA server compared to others op.gg provides stats for.

It think it has a lot more to do with how incredibly frustrating she feels to play against. Most people would rather ban her instead - I mean, personally I think a ban is a fair price for being allowed to have fun bot lane.
