Ivern "Support" with smite

Riot needs to fix Ivern supports who are taking smite to counterjungle the opponents jungler. You guys say that you wanna punish someone for doing the same thing with singed, then you need to make it so supports aren't able to take smite and therefore won't be running off into the jungle. Make the game balanced and keep the supports in the bottom lane thank you!

The way he did it was clearly in a problematic manner. He would go support so he could play singed jungle, permanently leaving the ADC in a 2v1 bot lane, and even typically proxying bot lane as well. This meant the ADC was effectively non existent for the remainder of the game.

As long as you fulfill your duties of properly supporting your teams ADC then by all means do what you want.

Someone put it nicely by saying "since he left the ADC to get zoned off CS and took their CS he essentially removed them from the game, at the same time he did nothing but clear waves. he basically made the game a 3v5"

No offense but your comment is super misleading and left out alot of facts.

  1. He came back around 4 minutes to help out his ADC after he counterjungled so he didn't leave his bot lane "Permanently"

  2. He only proxied the waves after laning phase was over to keep pressure on the map

This is incorrect. He only started coming back bot lane after his punishment. "Probably have to go back bot lane soon otherwise I'll get banned again" - Common phrase I've seen him use on stream. Even then he only returns for maybe 30 seconds - a minute and a half then returns to doing his thing.

If this strategy had legit merit to it and was game changing then it could be argued that it's excusable, but robbing the enemy jungler of some farm and potentially only several hundred gold and maybe a level's worth of XP is not worth robbing his own ADC from ALL gold and XP from being zoned off and potentially farmed for kills bot lane.

As others on the boards have said to me they can play whatever they want however they want it isn't trolling.

Let your support do what he wants to do.

If he wants to level 1 steal a buff it really cripples the enemy jungler and as long as he isn't just jungling i don't see a problem with it.

The Singed thing is completely different. From what I understand he was being an asshat and taking his ADC's farm by proxy farming bot lane's incoming minion waves.

The singed player was leaving his adc solo in lane for long periods to do so. How ever ivern can go take a jungle camp in seconds when smite is up and be right back.
