ELO Hell: Is it real? How do I escape?

So I've been in Bronze for the last few seasons, and each year I can see my elo plummet even further. It's gotten to the point to where every game is filled with at least one lane on my team feeding and the Win/Loss rate being somewhere around 30%. I have seen myself get slightly better with time, however I can't get to the point of being able to just sheerly carry and will my way out of Bronze like my friends said I should. I know for a fact that I am on par with most silver players in terms of laning, because I have played in that ELO and done fine. Does any one have any tips for getting out of my position?

  • First thing you need to fix is your CS. It is too bloody low in most games. Go into practice mode and CS for 10 minutes, then hit the reset button. Do this a few times.
  • Second is you are playing too many lanes and champs. Get simple champs for 2 lanes.
  • Third is you aren't playing enough games. Gotta grind them out.

The way i got out of bronze was watching tips and talking to friemds who are higher up. If you do have good friends that have the time and patience to play a few games and tell you what to look out for and other things. I highly suggest that. Also pick one role for now and a handful of champs. Learn them enough so you can be confident. Confidemce in your champ and knowing what you can do witj them is really he key. In example when I was learning adc. I basicqlly relied on jungle or support to make plays and i just picked kills off. Aroumd tht ti,e kimdred came out and the heal on her w gave me that confidence. I could lane her anywhere took teleport and ran around the map as top lamer or even adc and got kills. Sadly they nerfed her thoughl lol

Find your favorite champ type like bruisers or adc or tanks. Then find the role or roles u like. Spam in norms with 1 to 3 champs that meet the previous rules. For example i do Swain, jax and maokai for Ad, Ap and tank for every team comp. Jax and mao can jungle where i flex amumu or elise to cover ap so if they go yas mid we get some ap for balanced comp. But at first just focus on 1 champ then a backup if banned. Thus allows you to focus on hame 13356% more than a champ pool of 20 champs(why most people stay bronze). They focus on micro the whole time instead of macro and that is the result, go nowhere. So play a fun champ that you can play braindead so you learn matchups, power spikes, and objective priority. For example i can splitpush with jax with sheen and phage to 2 v 1 most ganks and get 2nd tower at 20 ish mins with triforce on a slower game. 15 if really fed. But i group after first tower only, because even if they stomp me, if they tp bot i get 3 waves and they just threw lead to allow me to take more towers, then i can group and be very relevant even if an item behind im not useless and i got a tower and gold for team, and pressure on map. Instead of just getting a useless kill and air drag them jerking off mid for 5 mins. When insteaf those 3 waves and tower give you 1000+ gold and 1.5 lvls. This took me so long to learn but get a lead then group, dont just get nothing. Watch high elo streams, ask for EVERYTHING they do why they did it, pause video when confused until u get why, then you will stomp low elo.
