What happened to League?

So the more I play, the more I begin to realize that League is in the most dismal state it's ever been. The balance is terrible. the bugs are countless, and the community's toxicity level is reaching new heights. I find my interest in this game dwindling as a result of this. My enjoyment used to be in this game used to be overflowing; I couldn't stop myself from playing. Now I only turn to League when my friends tell me I absolutely have to play with them. It's sad to have seen League go down like this. Anyone else feel this way?
