Kill Reward System Idea

Kill rewards have somewhat followed the same laws as far as i am aware since the beginning of league. With this system there are some awkward and inconvenient circumstances we run into from time to time, some of us more than others.

What i am talking about is kill credit, in other words; who gets the Shekels after a kill.

This isn't a "STOP KSING ME REEEEE" post, its more for convenience.

The idea i have is that a champion who deals the most amount of damage to the recent murder victim in the allotted time is permitted the gold and credit, regardless of the last hit. This can remove some annoying circumstances where supports accidentally take the last hits from ADCs. Or junglers are left in an awkward situation where they do not take the kill because they want their laner to get the gold, only for the hapless victim to escape with his life.

For Example:

Gangplank is overextended toplane. LeeSin comes in to gank for Jayce . Jayce deals 35% of the damage to Gangplank . LeeSin deals 20% of the damage to Gangplank . Minions/turret deal 45% of the damage to Gangplank . LeeSin gets the last hit because Gangplank flashed away. Jayce still gets the kill reward.

why do people care about KSing? as long as your opposing laner is out of lane, you can get a huge CS lead.. plus you still get assist gold.. and in later game, who cares who gets the last hit, so long as they are out of lane so your team can push? maybe if you're grinding S ranks or something, then sure, but that's a niche scenario..
