Regarding Thornmail + Small Poll

After reading a post here on the boards on how thornmail is virtually useless with all the healing in the game, I thought of a new unique passive. What if for say 500-1000 additional gold it was given an additional passive that negated all lifesteal done off said champion with it? Also since Thornmail is so cheap, ramping up its price seems like it would be easily an okay 3rd or 4th item.

If anything I would say give it grievous wounds over a 100% negation of lifesteal. That seems a bit extreme

It's only useless because its not a must build item for anyone. If it ever got to be as popular as IE I'd worry what nerfs it might get.
