So as a former evelynn mid main(pre-rework) let me say thank you for creating pyke

I had pretty much 1tricked evelynn mid up until her recent rework which unfortunately absolutely killed her ability to solo lane and squarely relegated her to the jungle. Since then I've always felt a void missing from my melee-stealth assassin being taken away from me. Pyke's stealth and speed boost mechanic is what drew me so much to the old evelynn. the ability to play mindgames on where you are going to pop in from next and the moment of sheer terror when you surprise a lone adc pushing lanes. This solves my largest grievance with the evelynn rework, that she no longer had a speed boost and was reliant on telegraphing her intent with her new charm ability.

I've seen it said that pyke is a support, does he have enough damage to cs effectively in a solo lane? or is his base damage too low?

I think you should play new Evelynn more, as an evelynn main myself i really don't understand the complaints when it comes to her Kit, i understand he not being a good solo laner but she never was and i undestand her not having AD scalings because it was fun.

We won't know how good pyke is as a jungler or solo laner until he's released on the PBE tomarrow, but more than likely you'll have the same issue where you can't solo lane effectively.

Side Note: I mained Old Evelynn exclusively for 4 months in preparation for her rework, loved her then, still love her now, she can do all of the things the old evelynn can do and while charm is necessary early once you get full Magic Pen and a Lich bane, you really don't need to charm someone cause your E+lichbane proc does way to much damage, it's actually absurd. Your probably not a jungler so i guess i understand but the rework was perfect to me and i'll never accept complaints about it.
