I have mixed feelings about pretty much everything that's happened. It still feels like there's 2 ADCs in the game that are god tier, and the rest are meh, the only thing different are which ADCs they are.
Jungle item progress is slower than before, meanwhile games are faster, so unless you're snowballing you're fucked unless you're playing a tank, meanwhile Sejuani is in an even worse spot than she was after getting butchered by nerfs last season.
Games don't take 45 minutes on average, but are immensely difficult to come back in without the other team throwing hard.
Last whisper changes make tanks stronger and actually tanky, meanwhile all assassins and especially champions like Jayce suffer big time for it.
Diversity got dropped hard by nerfs to certain keystones and buffs to one of the already strongest keystones in the game. Before hand you had viable reason to take each of the ferocity tree, most of the cunning tree, and most of the resolve tree.
Previously semi diverse champion picks feel less diverse everywhere except for maybe top lane, which with the experience changes is a nightmare as if the enemy jungler camps top lane you never get to be more than a melee minion the entire game.
Towers die easier than super minions. Nobody cares about anything aside from towers until about 10 minutes into the game, as rift herald is underwhelming, while dragon's first rank of buff isn't worth the time taken to kill it until later into the game. There was a joke said in one of the patch rundowns where you could take a tower or you could take one of the neutral objectives which could even result in you killing a tower. Might as well just kill the tower.
A lot of item build paths still need fixed. AP itemization sucks ass with how expensive items have become, meanwhile all AD team comps are trouble because tanks are so strong against AD champions with the Last Whisper nerfs.
A lot of games if your ADC is weak/loses lane, you lose that game if other lanes go even or even if there's an advantage.
Don't get me wrong I'm not bored of the game, and the changes aren't frustrating enough for me to want to stop playing or anything, but I find the game maybe a bit less satisfying.
Going 5/0 with Jayce in lane isn't nearly as hard as it used to be. It feels much less satisfying when you do stomp your opposing laner since you get one kill it equates to a full level, make that advantage further and it becomes nearly impossible for a jungle gank to turn it around, in fact, usually it just results in a double kill. On the flipside getting behind in lane feels much more hopeless than before, and junglers have little desire to try to fix the situation due to the even higher risks of trying than before.
