League is getting boring

Im gonna be as straight forward as possible, Im getting bored with league. Maybe I have played for already two years or maybe Im mad cuz Im cant climb up; but I was having fun until pre-season. Probably Im being a sore loser, but the fact that everyone one shots you and that you can only use thunderlord decree or you feed is bad (what happened to the diversity talk in patches). You cant even farm anymore cuz the enemy team is knocking at your inhib's door at 15 mins. Some champs that should've been nerfed got buffed!? vayne or rengar? Some got such bad reworks ,with so much potential, were tried but left behind: graves and quinn or even corki while some got forgotten, where is urgot update or a decent e for ashe.Adc main btw. Well idk thats just how the game feels right now, you either one shot or get one shoted and theres almost no room for comeback and I dont like that. Thats just me, anyone feels the same or naw?

It's called take a break and comeback when you feel like, league isn't something you have to play 24/7 365 days a year. I've been playing from 6 years ago but I do take few months break occasionally to play other games (Like soon i'll try black desert and blade and soul full release) But league is just something i return to because while it may not be forever fun, returning to it always feels fun for me since they do fix alot of problems and add content.

Are you a squishy Carry main? Thunderlord's doesn't exactly have the same effect on naturally tanky champs, or those that can afford the extra bulk in their items. Either the champs really messing with you with Thunderlords were already going to abuse you in the first place, or you could've found a way to work around them.

I could've sworn Riot just made a statement about how League games haven't had a significant change in length.

Or I misread it, who knows.

Some champs that should've been nerfed got buffed!? vayne or rengar?

Vayne sits just barely below a 50% win rate, and Rengar just below her.

Some got such bad reworks ,with so much potential, were tried but left behind: graves and quinn or even corki

All three appear to have higher win rates than Vayne and Rengar.

I'm 90% sure Urgot is in a similar basket to Old Poppy, if you know what I mean.

or a decent e for ashe.

Ashe's E is one of the best utility abilities in mid to high level play, made even more valuable by the fact there is less overall vision due to the preseason changes...

Adc main btw.

Oh.

That makes sense.

Well that's what you get for playing a squishy class designed around their offensive stats instead of their utilities.

I think you just happened to put yourself in the most precarious situation possible without realizing it, and are only now coming around to noticing what's up as the Preseason came along.

Of course youre not having much fun as adc in this meta when tanks with 0-1 damage items just oneshot you :D

I have mixed feelings about pretty much everything that's happened. It still feels like there's 2 ADCs in the game that are god tier, and the rest are meh, the only thing different are which ADCs they are.

Jungle item progress is slower than before, meanwhile games are faster, so unless you're snowballing you're fucked unless you're playing a tank, meanwhile Sejuani is in an even worse spot than she was after getting butchered by nerfs last season.

Games don't take 45 minutes on average, but are immensely difficult to come back in without the other team throwing hard.

Last whisper changes make tanks stronger and actually tanky, meanwhile all assassins and especially champions like Jayce suffer big time for it.

Diversity got dropped hard by nerfs to certain keystones and buffs to one of the already strongest keystones in the game. Before hand you had viable reason to take each of the ferocity tree, most of the cunning tree, and most of the resolve tree.

Previously semi diverse champion picks feel less diverse everywhere except for maybe top lane, which with the experience changes is a nightmare as if the enemy jungler camps top lane you never get to be more than a melee minion the entire game.

Towers die easier than super minions. Nobody cares about anything aside from towers until about 10 minutes into the game, as rift herald is underwhelming, while dragon's first rank of buff isn't worth the time taken to kill it until later into the game. There was a joke said in one of the patch rundowns where you could take a tower or you could take one of the neutral objectives which could even result in you killing a tower. Might as well just kill the tower.

A lot of item build paths still need fixed. AP itemization sucks ass with how expensive items have become, meanwhile all AD team comps are trouble because tanks are so strong against AD champions with the Last Whisper nerfs.

A lot of games if your ADC is weak/loses lane, you lose that game if other lanes go even or even if there's an advantage.

Don't get me wrong I'm not bored of the game, and the changes aren't frustrating enough for me to want to stop playing or anything, but I find the game maybe a bit less satisfying.

Going 5/0 with Jayce in lane isn't nearly as hard as it used to be. It feels much less satisfying when you do stomp your opposing laner since you get one kill it equates to a full level, make that advantage further and it becomes nearly impossible for a jungle gank to turn it around, in fact, usually it just results in a double kill. On the flipside getting behind in lane feels much more hopeless than before, and junglers have little desire to try to fix the situation due to the even higher risks of trying than before.

Yeah the balance tram's competence I've always given the benefit of doubt but at this point...I don't really know anymore. I had always forgiven them for their mistakes internally and it's been 100+ too many mistakes and hindsight issues that finally are making me leave this game and play less and less these days. I've always been a proud Rumble main who always loved tackling new challenges that Riot gave us. New champions I had looked forward to trying out or even facing them created great moments for me and friends alike. In the recent times however, each time upon hearing of a new champion's announcement, all I can do is worry and dread the impending release of this new demon arisen. All I can think of is "I don't have enough bans to get rid of this champion".

Props to that amazing Art team of yours though, Riot. They're amazing and talented people with a lot of vision and creativity, however I can't say much of the balance team anymore.

I play every now and then in ARAM but only for friends, kind of shamefully given up on ranked slowly and slowly, waiting for a new game to take my interest eventually. It's really been fun and I hope I can maybe return eventually because I really like Rumble. This isn't a dramatic goodbye like everyone likes to do out of anger and spite, but more like a "see ya later".

Stop playing ranked. Thank me later.

league has always been one big clusterfuck of unbalanced stretches of time. You're simply unfortunate enough to be on the shitty end of the stick right now, give it a bit and let some buffs and nerf run through and bam you're top dog again.

tl;dr

Yep. Too much luck involved in the game on whether your team has a brain or not.

Been playing for about 5 years, it's always good to take a break. There's no point in playing something you don't want to play. Anyways, you'll likely come back after a while, due to all the cool new stuff that Rito introduces, or the meta shifts if you're really concerned about gameplay only.
