What is this useless buff to the blue card?? sure +40%AP ratio would be a great buff...but if it was on the Q, E or Gold card, not on the blu card Blu card is not used to fight just to get some (really low) mana back. Buffing the blu card should mean, buff the mana recovered, that is only 10 for many levels (Q is maxed before W)

And we are talking of a champion that has really low mana pool and having one of the last ultimate that still costs more than 100 mana (150)

At level 6 Twisted Fate: mana 408, ultimate costs 150 (36.8%)

Noone is even close to Twisted fate, and some of them has tools to get mana back like TF (Xerath, Malzahar, Veigar, Kassadin, Annie)

Also, his 1v1 power is really low. I know that it's not his strenght but excluding the ultimate (and its purpose) there are champions that can kill you with just Q W E

Also, compare to other "roaming" or "global" champions, he has mana issue (to wave clear he has to use Q a lot) as we said and less fighting power. Let's take Galio, much more mana pool and better wave clear with Q and passive. Or let's consider Pantheon as mid laner, much more damage in 1v1 and a ultimate that costs 100 mana (22.7%)

Twisted fate needs some love but what he needs is not more damage on the blu card

It's literally a perfect buff now. Instead of just perma defaulting to gold card every time. There are situations where you want other cards and there is some though process behind it instead of just "gold, i want it".

The point of buffing the Blue card so much was BECAUSE it's useless

TF has less mana because, unlike literally every other champion you mentioned, he is a Marksman too. And since his R has the most powerful effect in the game and has two parts to it, an extra 50 mana isn't out of place.

While the buff to Blue Card won't make a huge difference, the Red Card buff will definitely make a difference. Besides, it would be weird for them to make the Red Card the best at single target damage, so they had fo buff the blue one too.

And while TF in particular has huge Mana Cost on his Ultimate, all Champions with Mana Restoration on abilities have huge costs. Comparing his Ultimate cost, an ability with huge CD that you will at most use once per fight, isn't really fair considering all those aforementioned champions will spam high cost abilities multiple times in a fight. If you want to compare Mana issues, you have to analyse the whole kit, not just one ability.
