I didn't get any responses to my other thread so I'll make another. I've seen quite a bit of Ryze lately. And most of the time between Mid and Late game he is deleting champions and teamfights alike. How do I go about preventing this/what are good ways to counter him?

that's what he does mid-late

delete people with spammy spell rotations

but generally the best way to beat him is to actually just outrange and kite, as its very hard to survive his damage

But on the outrange, his ult seems to be able to close that outrange extremely quickly.

It only gives him 80 movement speed. Just stick a slow or a stun on him. If you chose a team comp without any CC, well, good luck.

Silences wreck Ryze. Play Chogath, Soraka , Malzahar.

Does the silence last long enough? His ult is up every like 5-10 seconds so..

His ult is only up if he can pull off a full combo.
