When maw pops

Can there be some sort of drawback? Or at least give hourglass something to help out, 1 second cc immune? I dont care about this 10% cd reduction, whats the point? I cannot do anything while im sitting there. Just one Pretty silly example is when a Caitlyn can build maw, survive my katarina burst,I hourglass then she just places a trap and im done...
