Ya i just had a bit of this playing against one tonight.
He has transcended the mortal plane
I got the same thing in a normal game with Spirit Guard Udyr.

Same thing happened with me! Any info as to what stance he was in when it occurred? That might help narrow down the cause of the bug. As he was opposite team I can't say much about it.
