Are the current matchmaking algorithms updated? I really don't think it should consider total wins within a division because each game is unique and has too many in-game factors that aren't taken into consideration when it's just summed up into a total number.

If skilled players are being stacked in one team in gold 1, imagine how rough it is in higher elo where the player-pool is even smaller for the algorithms to factor in. It's honestly pretty discouraging.

Unlucky

There's no telling how tilted someone is / rough of a day they're having that might affect their solo q performance.

One lane defeated is enough to inch the enemy miles ahead if the victor knew how to use his advantage.

I doubt there will ever be a point in league where one sided games don't exist.
