How to Ping Without Pissing Someone Off

> Two missing pings for MIA at most. > If you're scared for a teammate's seemingly risky movement, ping ONCE in front of them for caution. > If you're aware of someone coming to gank through FoW, ping ONCE right next to endangered player in the direction of said threat. > If you EVER change your mind on objectives/fights, ping it if you've got a second. For example, I might ping the enemy turret after nearly acing enemy team, but jungler's making a solid-sounding Baron call; ping On My Way to it and move. DO NOT STOP TO STEAL THE GOD DAMN ENEMY BUFFS. > Do not spam fucking pings. Some people have the LP to spare to fuck your game over on the spot and act rebellious. You know where that tends to lead.

Overall, the Caution and Danger pings are the most irritating-sounding pings in the game. Use them sparingly. Besides, if you saturate the game with bad pings you lose your teammates' trust. Not good if you want to help lead your team.

I was playing as support, having all the wards in place. After encounter with enemy bot lane i had to teleport back. I noticed enemy Katarina goes bot, river was warded all along the way - i pinged my adc... again... again... typed in chat "katarina going bot"... pinged afterwards.

After adc got deleted by Katarina i wonder why do i even bother warding as a support.

i usually follow all these guidelines pretty well except for when i spot someone on the minimap heading to another lane but i cant type it out so i leave 3 MIA or alert pings leading to the teammate closest to where i think they're coming
