Winning games isn't about KDA. It's about carrying your team as whole through the entire game. I recently got placed in Bronze 5 after placements and even as a support main I am slowly, but surely working my way back up to silver (EVEN AS SUPPORT, sometimes even with the lowest damage). Supplying vision, map awareness, not feeding, setting up ganks, making good calls, focusing objectives, denying drags, etc.

A good example of this is the scoreboard might be:

Your team: 20 kills Enemy team: 28 kills

Your team destroyed 3 enemy turrets Enemy team destroyed 1 ally turret

Your team has 1 drag Enemy team has 0 drags

This is a good example of your team being behind in kills, but still having the bigger game advantage.

In league 1 turret is worth about 3 kills

So in this example you have to consider this meaning the score would look closer like this:

Your team 29 Enemy team 31

You still have to consider your team as a whole has the buff from 1st drag while the enemy team does not. This also puts you at a much higher advantage in your team damage output.

You also have to consider that killing 3 turrets means the enemy will have x3 less vision on the map since turrets give vision and your team will also have more board control.

You forgot very important factor which is cs. Although in higher leagues it is quite directly connected to towers and kills, this might not be true in bronze.

There is also kill spread and composition, if you are Riven and get fed laek damn on some bronze Teemo, but enemy Janna ruins all your engages you are still as good for nothing as this Teemo, you would be better donating those frags to this jungling Volibear.

Also wealth is relative, bronze players are very bad with builds, if you are 11-0 and buy 4th damage item instead of banshee that you need to avoid Malphite's ult you soon will become good for nothing.

Oh and there are game phases, if you are few kills behind as a team but have Vayne and Braum you are most likely fine.

Also closing the game, in bronze you will see people having great advantage and use it to clear jungle instead of pushing for gates allowing enemies to come back.

I guess that TL;DR is : it's damn hard to tell which side has advantage in bronze :D

I'm a support main. I don't know anything about cs :P. I leave that to my laners to factor other than helping poke down waves sometimes or procing relic shield on a cannon.

As for enemies being fed. It really comes down to what champ they're playing and how fed they actually are. A lot of games can be won back though in late game though even if 15 kills behind as a team.

Sometimes top lane can get deleted and there's not much you can do about it as Support. Right now I've been good at helping mid and bot secure lanes most of the time, but top is kind of out my hands which is why I really want to pick up Shen support for the roaming. I haven't had much luck with Shen support yet though, maybe it's just not my play style.

Isn't the kind of thing you should be saying if you want to climb. meanwhile it looks like you were the one who got caught out at ~30 min which threw the game. You were ahead (10-4 if i counted correctly congrats), but that means you had all the gold on your team and got picked off right before they took baron. What did you expect to happen? What did you want your underfed teammates to do about it? Since you were taking all the kills and funneling the gold onto yourself they couldn't contest the baron without you although it looks like kindred and nasus tried for the steal.

I don't see anywhere I got caught at 30 minutes, except for that part where I got a double.

Back in Season 5, I made the decision to play mid, and within 20 games I had climbed 2 divisions, because I managed to get teams that wouldn't constantly feed. Ekko can't kill buttloads of fed people.

If you think that's bad, you really haven't been in silver long, having really bad teammates that go 0/10/3 sucks, but if you are good then yes, you can eventually carry yourself to gold, bad teams is a "gosh i hate silver players" not "gosh its' literally impossible to get out of silver"

I was diamond last season, currently in platinum, I can't carry my smurf account from silver 1 to gold V, not that I don't get fed, just team feeds so hard you have to fight against fed enemy so they are 5 fed, you are alone. Riot changes are towards making this game uncarriable(minion strenght, death timers) 1 missplay from a fed person(you) and you are dead for 70 seconds and 4 retards are left alone for devastation.
