[POLL] What should Riot do with ranked?

i voted for show mmr and go back to elo but in all honesty i dont care... partly because i believe rank serves a purpose most dont...

i believe rank is there to place people of similar skill levels vs each other to create a fair /balance game play to all players of all skill levels.

for example if there wasnt the ranks and people in bronze are playing vs people in diamond normally people in bronze wont find the game fun or fair and will be frustrated with not being able to do good and might leave/quit the game. where as the diamond player who just out skills the bronze players has no challenge or test of skill and gets bored like he is playing vs bots and gets tired of the game and goes to try to play something else that he finds challenging.

its a system to put players in a place where they can grow and improve and have reflection of it... ( something to strive towards aka higher ranks ) while being challenging and rewarding as they play and improve as players. it makes the player base stay and play longer and more often therefore RIOT increases their potential income as a company by players becoming addicted to the system and obsessively play the game to get "better" and "climb the ladder" and "earn rewards " its like a proverbial carrot in front of the donkey so he keeps pulling and hauling shit up the mountain.
