ADC decisions why runaans instead of statik? etc.

So, I recently bought varus and managed to do well (no surprise being one of the best adc champs right now), but i went statik shiv. I have been watch coaches and what not on youtube and they have been saying to get runaan's and I don't know why because you seem to be able to get cs faster with statik (means more rotating to mid/ getting tower faster). I also have been building rageblade (mid gameish) to get the W faster and beef up the ap portion of varus a tinybit. Other than that I got the three more obvious items, IE, Essence, and bloodthirster (for a tanky team id get bork instead). I just want to get opinions and tips and just get whatever game knowledge I can out of this.

All bolts apply ON HIT effects. That boosts your waveclear, your lifesteal, your teamfight capabilities and has good synergy with BOTRK and other on hit items

each zeal item is very unique so to answer your qusetion i will explain each one. item 3087 : Meant for wave clear and it charges very fast, also offers abit of burst against enemy champions. item 3094 : Meant for safety, sieging and abit of burst on single targets, great for champions like Jhin who want to stay far and play safe item 3046 : The best out of all of them for 1 v 1 situations, with it's passive it also offers safety, god tier when you fuse it with item 3812 item 3085 : The bonus bolts will fuse with MOST passives, examples, ashe frost, Jinx Rockets, Varus passive. With how the bolts work, its unarguable the best team fight zeal item, for it allows you to hit multiple targets at once in a team fight instead of just one. item 3087 MAKES MINIONS AND CHAMPS GO BOOM item 3094 Keeps me safe from far away and makes towers go boom :D item 3046 I am now karate master and can cheat death! item 3085 I CAN NOW HIT THREE PEOPLE AT ONCE!
