Why do people say the best cinderhulk junglers are junglers that can stack hp easily?

Im simply confused. Wouldnt it make more sense to build more resistances than hp? Because if your already getting more hp doesnt that mean you dont need to build that much of it, so you can focus on resists?

You're right on needing resistances and not just health. But the 25% bonus health is just too efficient to pass up. However, getting so much health from the passive + item 3800 or item 3083 allows you to forgo a health item, in favor of a resistance item or two. Usually item 3075 or item 3110.

But getting too many tank items without health essentially wastes Cinderhulk's passive. It's like last picking Yasuo for midlane when your team is all squishy ADs. It can work, it's just not optimal.

The 25% bonus hp buff is incredibly good early game, especially on naturally tanky champions such as sion, volirbear, etc

I understand with champs that have hp scalings, but with alot of other junglers out there like shyvanna.

Shyvanna benefits from more health than anything because her ult form grants her flat (bonus ) resistances on top of all that health she's stacked.

Ok that makes more sense, Thanks!

She has innate resistances and so she can build health before resistance.

It shouldn't completely change the way you build.. but definitely adding HP to your build is prefered.. otherwise whats the point of getting cinderhulk? With that being said cinderhulk + all warmogs is NOT an effective build lol. I'd say Omens and Banshees for example are more appealing than a flat MR item like wits end/abyssal. (although they serve different purposes)

cinderhulk adds additional HP based on your bonus HP

I know so wouldnt it make sense for you to then not need as much health from items and stack resistances?

No because if you dont buy health then you arent getting benefit from the passive.

The passive makes every gold you spend on health 25% more efficient. Hence why it is better to buy it.

Obviously you cant forgo resistances for that though.
