Yasuo's Ult. Got a Question

Jolly Rogered··1 votes·674 views

I have been playing Yas since he was released and today I have noticed something with his ult that I could never really understand. I had 3 knock-ups within my circle, they were very close. When I ulted, Yasuo only attacked one of the champs not all 3. I did no dmg to the other 2 champs in the air, Yasuo only leaped up to one of them.

I have seen this before but I never thought much about it. Today it was profound, none of them had any items to void my ult too. The ult also seemed much shorter too, it didn't go through the whole animation.

Is this a bug or is there something else to explain this?

I think that you used let before the other 2 got knocked up so it only hit 1 person.

It must have been a fraction of a second then cause they were all very close when I knocked the 3 of them up.

Did your Yasuo extend the knockup duration of the other targets but not do damage, or not extend the knockup at all? If only the primary target remained in the air for the Ult I can only assume they were somehow actually out of Ult radius. If they were all suspended in the air by the Ult, I have no answer unless they escaped it (there is a brief window that you can perform actions while in the air before the Ult starts doing damage).

They were definitely within range, I was literally right next to them. Once they were all airborne (by my whirlwind) I immediately ulted and Yasuo only attacked one champ and the animation was very short. Only one champ was dmged the other were unscathed.

What do you mean by extend the duration of a knock up?

If the Ult hits, he extends their knockup duration during his attack (instead of them simply falling back down after the whirlwind or w/e ability). It has its own knockup that lasts for something like 1 second. If his Ult didn't knock them up also, he won't be attacking them.
