An Idea for Yasuo and an Idea for Nocturne

Yasuo is pretty weak right now since all those nerfs garbage canned him, but that's mainly because when Riot messes with his numbers he either ends up strong or bad with little in between. So instead of just increasing his numbers until he becomes FOTM again, why not get rid of his channel time on his Q and make the animation able to be cancelled. His Q scales slower than his autoattacks and actually drops off after a certain amount of AD (around 266~ iirc), so it wouldn't make his late game any stronger really but his early game would slightly enhanced. I think this would make him more usable while not becoming anywhere near as strong as he used to be.

As for Nocturne, I was thinking his spellshield could reflect a flat amount of magic damage if used to block a targeted spell or skillshot (that way traps would be unaffected).

What do you guys think about these ideas?

I don't like the cast time idea, since then it'd would be much harder to avoid his Q, which is made dodge able for a reason. That reason being a piercing, on-hit procing, and increased range than a normal auto attack.

Yasuo really isnt that bad lol. Hes not nearly as strong as he was around the time of his release, but E maxing after his Q changed works wonders for certain matchups. It also makes it hard to itemize against him since a max'd E with two stacks does a shit ton early game. I honestly think the rest of his kit is fine. if you wanted your idea to go through i think he'd be bit to strong due to the point light2401 brought up. he'd probably take another nerf to his E and maybe lower the cooldown per lvl up of his Q like it originally was.

Yasuo isn't fine, he's legitimately a weak and bad pick right now. It's actually at the point where even though Riot knows people still think he's cancer (because they're uninformed/biased), they're still trying to give him a slight buff.

Hes probably a little weaker than the average pick but hes not bad.

No, he is a bad pick. He is easily in the bottom 3-5 mid laners, and is weak top lane too.
