People Intentionaly Throwing Ranked Games (And Why It Relates to Balance)

I just got done playing a match of solo queue where the jungler on my team (a Trundle, funny enough) that decided to troll our team after Corki (Our ADC) took his blue buff later in the game. Needless to say, without Trundle's support in team fights, or in general, we lost and 14 LP got taken away from me. Under most circumstances I'm usually okay with loosing because I know my team put up a good fight, but when that happens I feel cheated out of a possible win. And as far as balance goes, the system in place of taking LP away I wish was more lenient in situations like that. I know it's hard to "balance" human behavior, but certainly something can be done to help avoid this. I guess this is a bit of a rant, but certainly someone can sympathies here.
