Question about mmr

We all know that mmr is what decides how much lp we get per win/loss when playing ranked games. I myself have been stuck in bronze 1 forever nowitem 3151 , getting 20-25 per win and 14-19 per loss, which means mmr is better than average. When I looked on lolnexus it listed a "team mmr" which must be everyone on the teams mmr is grouped together. So my question is, is this how teams are created, do they try to match teams mmr? Is this why I keep getting placed with 0/10 bot lanes because my mmr is higher and they put me with low skilled players expecting me too carry? Because recently I have won lane and gone positive (or even because of fed other lanes) for most of them but my loss ratio is still much higher than my wins (http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-history/NA/40996952?matchType=2) So that's all, just wondering if anybody could answer my question. Thanks! Also, if this is true, is this why I have been first pick for almost all of these games so I can get my preferred lane to carry in?

Ok so you have part of it right and then get it wrong. yes their is a team MMR that is the total of your group. MMR is completely unrelated to ranking when it comes to match making. You are not necessarily getting matched with weaker team mates, you could be the lowest score on your team. Their is no way to know.

Now for your wake up call. Riot is not expecting anything of you. Your team mates are people that make mistakes or can be weaker than the other team in the lane they are in. You are in bronze your basic understand of the game is very questionable. Their are about 600,000 people who play ranked that are better than you or your team mates. Bad stuff happens and you will lose games.

You are not special.

Ok, I understand that, I never said I was perfect. But if you look at my match history, I would like you to just look at my teams kda compared to mine, I just can not seem to get a bot lane that doesn't die, this is what brought up this whole question.

Now this is my opinion here but bot lane is the hardest lane in ranked. So the bot lane requires 2 people to work together. Since the 2 players do not know each other it is very easily to have conflicting styles. Then if you run in to a duo on the bot lane it is even harder since they know how to work together and odds are on a VOIP.

If you do not trust bot lanes then maybe you should ADC or Support when given the option.

So I did go to your expand history. I am not really impressed with your numbers. They are not good enough to say much about other dying. Also your builds are questionable overall. You do not value your mobility and delay getting bots for a second high priced damage items. Hurricane is terrible and should never be built on Cait.... list can continue.

My last thoughts are you are not ready to really move up. Even if you happen to hit S5, it does not mean much. A lot of B1s hit it and then get stuck there. You are worried to much about your team failing you than you helping your team. You either need to get a deep understanding of the game, more skills, or get better at teamwork to advance to and through silver.
