Depends on whose he is against.

He is very good against almost every melee mid lane since he can shut down their abilities.

he does have a ap ratio on his ult that exeeds 1.0 AP (mal's r has a 1.3 AP ratio)which most mid laners dont have and this guy usually ends somewhere from 600-800 AP depending on build so that will be a lot of damage. Also he has a silence(Q) and a mini-silence (R)! He also has percentage DoT damage AoE(W- 32% in 4 seconds ). And lastly a he has another Dot but worst becasue if a unit dies because of it it jumps to a target and deals a lot of damage. He isnt OP he is balanced in my opinion cause his q and w are REALLY hard to land and that is bad because those two skills are the beginning to his combo.

He's an insanely strong AP champion. To pay for that, he only has one reliable cc and he has to stand still for 2.5 seconds without being interrupted at all for his combo, and he has no mobility.

But if no one else is around to stop your ult, you straight up win 1v1s.

No.

People for some reason think he's only strong for his combo and that if you can't reliably get his ulti off he's useless.

lol.

brb AOE silence that nukes and AOE % damage. If your team engages them and you manage to hit your silence on multiple units and have them sit on your AOE for even 2 seconds, you're dealing TONS of damage.

Yeah he's very strong. He straight up wins any 1v1 fights.

QSS is an awful item to build since it's 1550 gold (Delays build), gives no offensive stats (so he gets a bigger lead), and it's a dead end item for APCs.
