So, I have a question about Deathfire....

Ummm...It's supposed to work with abilities, right? So, why doesn't it work with abilities then?

I tried using it with Sivir's Ricochet, aaaand, it doesn't seem to work. I can understand if the first target isn't affected, seeing as it's actually an Auto Attack, but what about the bounces? There is no reason why the bounces can't apply the DoT.

There is a search feature you know. People have already answered this question.

Ricochet does not apply spell nor on-hit effects. It WILL apply on-attack effects, such as Thunderlord's Decree

Which should be really easy for her to proc

Sivir's ricochet is an attack modifier (like nasus' q) so they count as Auto's but don't apply on hit effects. DFT procs require something to have on spell effects. So if it can proc spell vamp it can proc DFT.

Then this needs to be changed. The on-hit shouldn't apply DFT, but the bounces definitely should.

Because it's NOT an attack modifier, or else every bounce would apply on-hits. And they don't.
