Give it another chance.

Played the game for a couple seasons, 3 or 4, whatever, doesn't matter. Quit a bit ago, took about three months off. Played some other single player games to recover my vast angst towards the mass incompetence that had tilted me out of my mind.

Was fun for a bit, but single player, bleh. I like to play against real people.

Lets see what state league is in... well, I've investigated, and I'll tell you what, its still garbage. 0-10, its a zero.

Why so harsh? A great game that you can't play kinda sucks ass.

I bet if you had told the dev team to intentionally program bad matches, that you would actually have better matches than ranked currently creates. I can't fathom how the game has remained in this state, for this many seasons; and no one is even talking about fixing match quality. Its not even a thing.

They think it works. They actually think that matchmaking works.

The experience of players matched in these games, is no where near the same. Its absurdly shockingly bad.

Now I know, all you trolls are going to call shitpost, and it is, but its not incorrect.

Heres the golden arrow you can't argue with. If you have one, just one, smurf in a game... the game is garbage. Unless both teams have a smurf, of equal skill, in equal positions to effect the game- the game is poorly matched.

Now you can take that the other way, just one feed. Same rules. Thats all it takes and the game is ruined for 9 people. Now combine the chances of having one or the other or both.... lol.

Without question, matching is shit. The problem is no one is doing anything about it. This should be a top problem in the game atm, it should be highest priority, on everyones radar. This effects everything to do with league. The strength of your region, popularity of the game, everything. Its not even related to game balance, its completely separate.

The roots are dying. I love this game, its so much fun, I WANT to play this game.

If I could only play consistently competitive games.... its not even a game if I can't. Its like the high school basketball team is taking on the 6th graders every game nearly. Its no wonder players tilt out of their minds, this game breeds tilt. It actually farms frustration.

Maybe I'll start knitting. I would quite likely have more fun knitting. I haven't knitted in a while, I wonder how the matching is in that. Better, it must be better. I'm going to be a knitting god. I'm going to knit with my grandmother, fuck league.
