had to wait 7 mins for one match, obviously it was declined and waited another 20 sec, but u know thats league i guess.

Is this normal? i know im in a bad spot level wise, but im not a diamond player, why would i have to wait 7+ mins for 1 queue? (blind queue, i hate to see what draft would be)

Mysticman891 votesIf you're playing well relative to other sub-30's (e.g. you're a smurf), queue times can get pretty spicy since pre-30 it's still trying to match you with other 'new' players at around the same mmr. So while you may not be diamond+ kind of high mmr, you might still be high mmr by new player standards.
As someone else mentioned though, draft is probably more popular, particularly among those who know what they're doing (e.g. high mmr 'new' players).
