I made this post to ask if anyone at Riot knows how soon we will get URF back after this short period is over?
Does anyone know, or is that still on the table for discussion?
I am happy URF has returned and I can have fun again playing league.

There's a difference, URF was made as a april fools meme.
5v5 ranked has been a core part of the game for 10 years.
URF is never going to be permanent.

BeatzBoyFTW4 votesURF being permanent is one of the most detrimental thing to happen in League. Players will definitely run out of steam by spamming URF multiple times every day, and by the time that happens, they'll find Normal/Ranked games as a hindrance since the lag of having actual cooldowns & mana-costs kicks in.
Be reminded that URF is only great for like, roughly a week. After that, it becomes super stale af. And if URF becomes stale as fk, Norms/Ranked is just 1000x of it.

Even Riot previously stated themselves that the reason they never brought back classic URF was because it made people stopped playing League for a long amount of time.

You mean the mode that forces me to use random different champions in each matches? Definitely not much, hence why they released AR URF instead.

Looks like Riot said what they said. Its hugely popular. Why would they tell you it makes people stop playing and not give any data or proof? Do you believe its hugely popular? If it is then it should stay, right?

It's not like they stop bringing it back after that. Classic URF did came back a couple of times before, and that's where they started noticing the stats of absent players coming in.
You need to have some common sense that these stats itself will definitely hurt Riot's economy in not having more players coming in to play if they get easily burnout from playing too much up to the point where the core component of League became super irrelevant to majority of the players.
If the mode is "so popular all the time" as you claimed, wouldn't it made common sense that they should made it permanent anyways? After all, this would definitely help Riot sell more skins since you would assume there would always be "this many players" to be playing the mode, right?
No, they chose to put it in a limited time instead. Riot isn't this stupid to remove the mode if your assumption is right. Just take your time & think about it.

Most people who like URF and want more of it are playing it and enjoying it, and won't be bothered with the forums. I will also note that the most noisy people on the forums are anti URF so it is no surprise that more people here vote it down, and down vote my post because they are "pro-riot" which means they are "anti-URF" because Riot hates URF for being better than their core mode.
So in order to get revenge against the players, they limit URF extremely, by bringing it out once every two years, because they know it is EXTREMELY popular among the "OVERALL" population, not just the select few die-hard Riot lovers here on the forums man.
Now, Riot has clearly said URF is HUGELY popular. Do you believe them or not?

Here let me break your entire little theory with one statement. I hate Riot. Im not "pro-riot".
URF is like the toy every kid wants but when they get it, they play with it for a day and then toss it in their closet and never touch it. Hence why Riot takes it away to make everyone want it again. URF has no replayability, it gets boring very fast, and hence is not better than regular Summoners Rift.
You dont want to believe this, so you makeup your crazy theories to try and explain away all the evidence that shows my point is valid. If you want to keep doing that. Go nuts, just dont be shocked when they remove urf again, as ive clearly explained to you why they take it away.

When you start talking conspiracy theories, its absurd because that involves multiple entities, which one group of fan boys or a Riot loving clique is not. I disagree with you on your claim that League is like a toy that people use once and forget about it. Not true in my case, I just play when it is fun, and usually play often.

CominTowardsYa2 votesI am almost 100% sure it will get kicked to the curb, because its so fun and I like it a lot too, but the problem with it Riot talks about is this, URF is so good, it outshines their normal game, making players stop playing normal mode, and only wanting to play quick URF games. So instead of make the normal game more fun, or giving more rewards for normal games, they just take URF away and punish everyone instead of let them keep having fun. Because League isn't about having fun and doing what YOU want, its about the Developers telling you what is okay, what is good, and what is fun, so you must do as they want you to do. Otherwise they would just see URF as a fun mode people enjoy and let it stay here for good. Why do they need to scrap it? To show you they can, and only allow you to play when they deem it okay.
That to me is not the way things should be in a game.
