Can't find Aery anywhere!!!

So this one game where I was Janna, at about the 15 minute mark after a teamfight, I could not find Aery anywhere on the map. She was not in my passive stats or seen visually around me. There was no bonuses to shields or extra damage after she was gone. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
