Frozen Mallet viable on Darius?

I wanted to get the opinion of everyone here. What do you think? Is frozen mallet viable on darius? Why or why not?

It works and none of the stats on it are wasted but as the majority of the time in team fights Darius is Q, E-ing and R-ing, the aa based passive is rather poor on him.

So Yes building it isn't horrible but there are better options generally.

P.S. Opinion is solely based on me having a variety of experience on bruisers not including darius.

Alright, thanks for the input. So far the only champion I've found where I've made frozen mallet work miracles is gnar. I love the slow/kiting effect so much, though. What do you think about frozen mallet on adc's as a potential tanky item? You know, kind of like the way adcs will build item 3053 for some survivability, would item 3022 also be decent for survivability purposes?

Frozen Heart is a weird item. It's build path sucks, the stats are meh, and the passive, while good, pales in comparison to some other items.

Frozen Heart was a competitive item way back when it had two passives - It had the slowing effect, AND it had the Rage effect of boosting MS when you attacked. It built out of Phage, back then.

That may not be the best option (The passive was removed for a reason), but I think it needs something else to help it. A better build path, for sure, maybe with an extra passive.
