It's not only NOT all random with the entire champion pool, but it caters more to these assholes who use ARAM accounts. Which I should remind you; SHOULD ALSO HAVE THE FULL CHAMPION POOL TO BEGIN WITH!

URF before was a hot mess with everyone and their mothers picking , , and even . But at least it took weeks to come up with that meta, this only took mere minutes to ruin.

I implore you, open up the whole champion pool or never bring back this mode again.

EDIT: And here come the ARAM accounts downvoting, hue.

Pretty sure the holdup is the lack of a need to buy anything in game within that mode, should it actually become all random. In fact, if it's all random, how do you even buy skins? buy a $10.00 skin and pray you get your champ 1/125 or whatever we're at? Pretty sure that's the holdup...

Personally, I think they should have a legitimate skin rental system that lets users use any (lower value?) skin in the game for a flat price. That would at least solve something with these ARAM shenanigans.

Simply put: You know how you used to be able to pick "Random" is champ select? That wasn't COMPLETELY random of course, it was a random champion from your current champion pool.

They took that code and put it into ARAM. Literally that simple.

To be honest, it does what it has to do. It gives you a random champion. They save time from not having to build an entirely new system from the ground up, which in turn saves them money. You have to remember that Riot is a business, and that is probably the most important factor that they were looking at when making ARAM a permanent game mode: "How can we do this quickly and cost effectively".

We may see it change after the client update, but who honestly knows.

Aram only accounts aren't even that good. There are so many better champs than the ones that aram accounts use, and they also have less oppurtunities to reroll and also have this weeks free week champions in there which kinda suck for urf.

Also stop trying to redefine "all" in the context of ARAM/ARURF. "All" in this case means ALL PLAYERS have random champions, not ALL CHAMPIONS are random for every player. If you think entire champion pool should be unlocked that's a different thing, but saying "it isn't all random" is not true because that's not what all random means in context.

it's when somebody goes and makes a smurf, then buys exclusively champions that do well in All Random All Mid mode, like lux, xerath, ezreal, etc.

many champions who are good in aram are above-average performers in ARURF.

Ergo, a buncha boosted goddamn animals are skewing ARURF champion results in their favor

League of Legends is a FREE to Play game.

Nothing stops a guy from making another or 17 more accounts, able to do with as they please with them.

It isn't like people have to pay to make an account and play the game, sure there are people who buy accounts... but then those people have something to lose (monetary investment) if they lose that account.

well, a good place to start would probably be.. before talking about failed integrity from LoL staff.. consider who's been trampling integrity all along without having it talked about.

like.. people go on about integrity, except really ever demanding integrity from each other, just like they do so often to the devs. they talk about how LoL staff are failing integrity, but then support smurf accounts and make smurf accounts to skew things in their own favour.

"All random" implies that everyone would've pressed the random button, which selects a random champion from what you own. So ALL the players are going RANDOM.

Besides, there are champs that are good in ARAM but not URF, and vice versa. So ARAM accounts don't ruin it.

Most champions who are good in ARAM are generally very strong in URF. Sure there are probably a few of them that are bad in URF but since you get 2 Rerolls (from what I noticed, both reset every game to?) so even if you don't get one of the super op URF champions, the aram only accounts can easily get one from using 1-2 rerolls. So imo they are still ruining it

Personally, it really really should be random from the entire champion pool...in both here and ARAM.

As an ARAM main, and one who devoutly wishes that ARAM stays as it is....

OPEN THE DAMN ROSTER IN ARURF.

As well, I would consider raising the end game rewards for the losing team by 15-25% the norm, and increase the chance for a Key drop by 5-15% for the winning team. Haven't seen an ARURF yet where neither team had a leaver because of a match-up.

You stuck around won? Congrats! Let's see if you earned a Key Fragment, they drop easier here because of how hard some games can be.

I really hate the new URF, but seriously, stop blaming ARAM. Evelynn and Shaco are garbage in ARAM, yet they're top picks in URF. And even other top URF picks like Zed and Hecarim, they're not that good in ARAM.

New URF is just crap because anything that has to do with RNG is crap. If I wanted to gamble I would've played poker or something, don't need that crap in a MOBA.

No, I said that they're not top picks like they are in URF, which is true, and in some cases they can be really bad. Zed can be easily countered by champs with good peel (hence why he is usually a split-pusher), and Shaco by champs who can safely check the bushes or even dismantle the traps safely, like Zyra, not to mention the 300g potion that reveals stealth units for 5 mins.

To be fair a lot of people who play league have just started to play and they don't really know how to play well.. any champions except one or two. Yes it'll show them the entire roster but I'm thinking maybe riot just wants to be fair to them. Although you may have to suffer it'll create new ideas and ways how to counter these op champions! (#theresalwaysaway)

Calling bullshit on that "new meta" taking a week. Day 1 started with them being rare but by the end of the day they were in every match. Don't act like it wasn't tryhards from day 1- there were.

And most of the strongest champions in URF aren't even the main ARAM ones- Orianna for example made me want to AFK at level 1.

I feel rather shafted with the current all random change myself. I honestly didn't care if the same few champs showed up every game, 'cuz I wanted to play my own favorite champs. I'm fairly new to the game and very slow at learning new champions, it can take me about a month to get comfortable with a new pick. That said, I have a very small pool of champs I can comfortably play. With the all random change to urf, I find it extremely difficult to enjoy playing this once favorite game mode, since a majority of the time I can't get one of the few champions I know how to play. It'd be like writing or drawing with your off hand: it's extremely awkward.

Adding to my dismay: I didn't realize this change went through until I was in lobby. The last I heard of urf, Riot mentioned a trial of all random urf, which I assumed was going on the PBE, not live servers. Queuing up and getting a random champion I didn't understand completely blindsided me.

Riot: please bring back the old urf, maybe even allow ten bans, but do away with the all random aspect.

As someone that hates random picking to begin with, I agree. Nothing is a bigger turnoff then not being able to play what I have fun playing. With how rotating queue currently works, we only get to play our favorite modes maybe once a month (if that) and then Riot does stuff like this.

I doubt I have run into even one of these so called accounts. Not to mention, eve and shaco would be pretty shit in ARAM. Also can't think hecarim would be much better. I think people just like to find things you complain about.

Also "you broke our trust"...really. How old are you? How easily do you get hurt? Be glad riot listened to the community and made it all random as it is.

especially since in ARURF you really dont get the excuse "but they should only get champions that they know how to play!" since it really doesn't matter in URF lol. just build full AD/AP/attack speed/etc (depending on champion), spam spells, and you basically have all you need to know.

Let's get real about one thing. Riot will NEVER open the entire champion pool for ARAM.

Buying champs is one of their main sources of revenue. If you open the entire roster then why would people bother purchasing a champ? And let's not forget that the larger population of League especially from some of the poorer countries probably doesn't even buy RP ever.

I'm personally enjoying ARURF and would like it to come back rather than the mode where we could select our champs.
