I feel like I do not enjoy team dependent games. There are games where winning is beyond my control.
My last game I was full tank Leona support, and I did the #1 damage to champs on our team. Also, least deaths on the team. I warded.

I'm thinking about bailing too. The game seems less and less fun lately. It's always just stress and obnoxious kids trolling or acting like jerks. I'm giving it until the end of holiday break when they're back in class... if it's STILL crap... I might just leave and play on steam instead of deal with the terrible community here.

Sometimes I get tired of League too and have to take break.
Instead of support, you can play a role that's less dependent on your teammates such as top or mid so your team will have to depend on you instead of you depending on them, you'll feel much more satisfaction from carrying. 
I grew bored of league. I feel that once you get really good with a champ, you're more inclined to play as them than others, which makes the game stale. I know people can say "play someone else" but I knew it was a Garenteed win (I mained garen) if I played him. I picked up smite on xbox and had more fun than I had with league. Im sure ill come back to league one day but for now I wont.

I'll say what i say to any quit post, league is something you can leave at any time you want to and come back when it's better. I've been playing this game for 6-7years and always take few months break occasionally if I feel bored, in order to try a new game such as the upcoming black desert/blade and soul or to just relax and catch up on shows i missed. It's not forcing you to play and will always patch to change stuff which will eventually fix something bothering you. Just leave and check back if they fix something every patch and if you like the patch then come back. Noone is forcing you to stay on league.
If you don't enjoy the game and aren't likely to change that, then you probably should leave. It's a game and games aren't worth playing if they're not fun.
Sometimes you need to be "next level" to carry a match. Nearly every match pre-Challenger is winnable because of what you individually do. And from any role. However, some roles are better than others if you plan to try to solo carry. Other times, you'll get carried too.
If you don't enjoy league, you don't have to play it.
Go forth! Find something that doesn't bore you!
Just keep up in the patch notes if you intend on ever returning. People who didn't play in season 5 must be REALLY confused (WTF new map? AOE Zhonyas? AOE Trynd ult? Why does Yi have a dog?)
Wait until the preseason is over. Try it out, then decide. You might as well wait for preseason to finish and take a big break right now if that is how you feel about pre-season, because this is the shittiest preseason ever.
