@Riot Can TFT Be Played Across Different Servers?

I have friends from EU W, I made an account there even though I am in NA so I could play with them. My Ping there Vs here is on average 149 ms vs 70 ms. It is obvious why we can't play Summoners Rift with people across the different server, The Ping variation would be an unfair variable for teams to have. But in Terms of TFT I don't see why we can't play against someone from a different region. It doesn't seem Like reaction time would be an issue at all and the only limiting factor i can think of is the Friends List being closed off from adding people from a different server.

It's prob not going to be cross server play. When you log into your client you log into an NA server and since TFT is played like a RGM it existing within the client.

Positive side is ping barrky effect the game and either you or your freind can just create another account (or transfer)

I dont think that's possible at all with their current server structure. They'd bascily have to build a new server where all the TFT traffic from international servers is directed to. 100% not worth it.

And while having a united playerbase would be fun - the idea of regional metas also has its benefits.

It would be a major pain in the ass to do. Would be neat and likely worth doing, but would require a lot of work to do.

Would also improve ranked a lot, as it would be a full world wide competition ladder.
